The first release comes from Bay Area multi-instrumentalist and part-time vocalist E. Live who made his vinyl debut on the Bastard Jazz Tempo Dreams series. Both A & B feature nice modern disco cuts that straddle the future/retro line with R&B vocals plus a nice mix of live and electronic instrumentation. Both sides work as well as peak hour boogie cuts, late night lounge vibes, or opening set floor-fillers, a modern take on classic disco funk.
