Respected UK funksters McKenzie & Gardiner are known for their 1983 boogie classic single “From Time” as well as their “Songs From Time – The Lost Demos” album.

Now they are back with a brand new recording of one of their most popular tracks “Hold On Tight” featuring the original singer Shelley Hicks – which comes with a special Nickee B remix!

Side A is the sophisticated soulful “OG Redux” version produced by Clive Gardiner who says “we used lockdown 2021 to get the gang back together, and we’ve never sounded better”. Side B is the new recording given a stripped down punchy vibrant remix from French boogie maestro Nickee B.
